My name is Sean, and I am a undergraduate student in Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. Social Welfare is my major, and I have some interests in the domain of long-term care, social insurance, and social assistence. My hobby is reading English news, especially New York Times. As for now, I am going to graduate in June 17. After I graduate, I will go back to Taipei for a graduate school course, which is related to Health Welfare. As for my future career plan, I would like to be a public servant as my full-time job and English teaching as my part-time.

Regulation of this board

In stead of forcing all you to write a article each week, here i am gonna change my policy. I don't want to press you to write or post a article in this board for each week, just try your best to do it.

For frankie, i have a reading plan in this year, i am gonna read five novels in this year, Memoirs of a geisha, Pride and Prejudice, Crime and Punishment, Brokeback Mountain and Bridget Jones's Diary. I ain't sure if i can reach my goal but i will try my best to finish it. Also, i will post my feeling and some resources about these novels after i finish each one. Besides, i will post at least an article each week and it could be just a piece of news.

And my training on 5/23 is delayed till next month, so i still have some time to come here and develop our board. It is also my board, so i would like to make it as more appealling and beautiful as possible. For all of you, just take easy in this board and be sure to remember to leave your feet track when you come here, that is really enough for me. ^_^

I would like to talk to you on the internet via Skype cause' i am kind of bored with reading a lot of emails everyday. So, do you have any Skype account? Please register one if you don't. I know a lot of people making friends through MSN or Skype now, by this way, we can train our speaking and listening ability much more. So, i would recommend you to use it for our english discussion. On 5/23, i will have a three-week training, believe it or not, our company are gonna walk in the mountain about 300 km, to walk till your leg is paralysed, it will be very exhausting and horrible but i will try all my heart and soul to finish it! I am frankie lin. I currently am serving in the military and learning to defend our country. Everyday is considerable busy but i still have two-day holidays, so i can come here and keep this board going and going to the best..... I am a man, aged 24, very general, has my own dreams and believes. To live in a happy and colorful life. I am a enthusiastic and vivicious person and has a lot of interests and like to help people. I just graduated from my school, bachalor degree, the major is criminology. I like to exercise, listen to music, reading, windor shopping, making friends, studying language, etc.

I lived in a general family, has two siblings, my father is a hardworking baker. He is very serious and strict but care about us very much.

Finally I hope we can study together and really have a lot of funs in this fantastic board in the future!

Mexican Food

The typical Mexican food is very varied, depending of the region of the country. In general consist of fried tortillas, tacos, tamales, etc.

The average meal depends of the economical and social status. Most people eat a lot of tortillas which are high en carbohydrates and promote obesity; poor people eat beans, the main staple, and chilies.

If people can afford to eat more nutritious meals they can eat chicken, fruits, milk, vegetables.

The modern diet is influenced by the American style; people prefer to drink Coca Cola rather than milk. Hamburgers, fried chips and hot dogs are also part of the diet of Mexicans.

I will introduce myself. I am a man, 49 years old, from Mexico. I will turn 50 at the end of next month. Argh!
I am married, ( I have been married for almost 30 years) Another Argh!
I work as a general practitioner, or family physician in the health system. (It is the same that doctor, but this term sounds something haughty so I avoid it)

My favorite hobby is everything related with learning and practicing English.
